Spring Awakening!

There is so much wonderful happenings in Long Beach...
The community of people are emerging through events, classes,
gatherings and all sorts of spontaneous connections.

For those of you who are still new to the General Store, it is a project,
and not an actual store. The vision of the General Store is for it to actually
become a place of community, food, and education.
Imagine a place where you're served a simple nourishing meal, enjoy
sitting on a long farm table, and have demos, classes and workshops
happening in the space as well. The vision of the place is more involved,
in community sustainability, and locally grown foods.

This month join us in learning from Shannon LaBounty,
She'll be sharing the basics of raising chickens right in your own backyard.
April 25th 10:30 am - 12pm
$10  * children welcome - if you do bring children RSVP so
we can keep track of how many we'd expect.

We also had two greta workshops on April 3rd, the Wild Edible Plant Walk and Fermentation with Caroline.  She makes learning fun!!  We'll have the Wild Edible Plant Walk again the first weekend of May.

RSVPing is easy at The General Store Meetup sign up so you're always tuned in to what's happening.
